Abstract

As the overall traditional architecture scene of Yuehan village has been severely damaged and the remains' locations are rather scattered, yet the whole environmental implication structure is relatively intact, we aimed at environmental image restoration by exploring new planning method for historical heritage protection. Based on image construction approaches of the traditional village, guided by the theory of City Image and FengShui, we reorganized and strengthened the Five Image Elements to enhance the landscape legibility and finally repaired the traditional local Image of Moon Palace.
