Abstract

The role of urban parks and green open spaces is often discussed at this time,The presence of CIty Parks would be contributing to the green open space or a space dominated by the natural environment outside as well as inside the city, in the form of garden, courtyard, city recreational areas and green belt. In Indonesia, the government has always said that the green open spaces in a big city it is always less, it has proven in RTH (Ruang Terbuka Hijau) Master Plan 2012-2032 Bandung mentioned that the total area of green open space (RTH) Existing Bandung in 2011 was, 1910.49 hectares (ha), 11.43% of the area of the city, Law Number 26 on Spatial Planning (Law No. 26/2007), which requires the city / county has an area of 30 percent green space in the area which covers 20% of public green space and 10% of private green space. The presence of a city park is expected to be the contribution of green open space in the city of Bandung, with an increase of rapid development and increasingly dense yet balanced by the presence of a city park in an area.
