jailcd2017065: A Study of Historical Block Renewal in Hangzhou

Abstract

In the process of urbanization, urban renewal has been undergoing many predicaments. We mainly studied two historical blocks which have been already restored in Hangzhou city, focusing on their new building facade, interior space and external environment. Finally, After comparing the characteristics of various methods in the preservation of historical block, we hope to make some positives changes for similar work in the near future.
