jailcd2017076: Study on Landscape Value of Xiaoyushan Park at Urban Level

Abstract

Xiaoyushan Park was originally a nameless hill and built into a park in 1985. The mountain is only 61 meters above sea level, but it’s the best vantage point to view the whole seaside scenes of Qingdao. Xiaoyushan Park is a classical garden-hill park. It breaks the convention that classical gardens often use dragon and flower pattern. It revolves around the theme of “sea” and highlight the fish-shape pattern, so that the classical garden architectures present the modern style. In this paper, we do research and analysis from three aspects of historical change, landscape characteristics and the landscape value.
