Abstract

With the continuous development of economy and the rising level of city, District, city of single function, large garden, and large commercial complexes appeared frequently, formation of these large functional areas of the city public space gradually lost its vitality, leading to the reduction of people's communication spaces in the city. How to make sure the full use of urban land and guarantee the urban citizen more urban public spaces at the same time has become a problem demanding prompt solution. This paper takes Sino-Ocean Taikoo Li commercial block design for instance, analyses and researches the strategies of its regeneration of a more open urban public space.
