Abstract

This paper puts forward the research objectives and defines the research objects. Secondly, it reviews the successful cases of domestic and foreign related research and coastal style design. It is Based on the case discovery and summary of the expression forms of the regional characteristics of coastal architecture, it discusses the architectural styles of the main coastal areas of Dalian one by one, and uses the methods of case comparison, graphic research, and analytic hierarchy process to analyse the overall style of the existing coastal architecture , single form, plane form, spatial layout and decorative symbols are systematically analysed and summarized, which profoundly reveals the regional expression logic and realization path of the architectural style of coastal cities. According to the research results, starting from the method of micro architectural design, this paper puts forward the strategy of building characteristic system and overall style of Dalian coastal buildings. Finally, combined with specific practice cases, it checks to test the practical applicability of the research results.
