Abstract

To ensure the sustainable development of the city people live in is an inevitable trend from the perspective of green and low-carbon. Among them, the urban public rest facilities undertake the important task of facilitating the short stay of urban residents, improving the service level of the city and building the overall image of the city. Based on the requirements of low-carbon design, this paper analyzes and summarizes the definition and classification of urban public rest facilities by observing the public rest facilities around, investigating the existing public rest facilities, and using the multivariate statistical research method. At the same time, combined with the relevant research literature of green and low-carbon public facilities at home and abroad and the innovative industrial product design of public rest facilities under the requirements of energy conservation and environmental protection, respectively, from the aspects of material selection, energy utilization and appearance design, the paper expounds the design and research of urban public rest facilities from the perspective of green and low-carbon by using logistic analysis method, aiming to provide public rest facilities and urban sustainable development provides certain enlightenment.
