jailcd2021017: Correlation analysis between land category and outdoor thermal environment
Keywords:
land category, outdoor thermal environment, cold hilly coastal cityAbstract
Urbanization has promoted the diversification of urban land category. Different land categories have different influences on outdoor thermal environment due to their unique spatial characteristics. Moreover, the outdoor thermal environment is directly related to the indoor thermal environment, affecting citizens' daily life. This paper takes Dalian, a hilly coastal city in the cold regions of China, as an example. First, the land categories of the city were divided; second, the building density, the greening rate, and building height of each land category were compared and analyzed; third, the data of air temperature (AT), relative humidity (RH), and wind speed (WS) of the outdoor thermal environment in summer after the filed measurement were normalized and analyzed. The results showed that the highest AT was 26.96℃ which reached in greening land,
and the lowest was 25.39℃ which reached in industrial land; the highest RH was 72.6% which appeared in
commercial land, and the lowest was 60.9% which appeared in other land; the highest WS was 0.53m/s ranked in industrial land, and the lowest was just 0.34m/s ranked in other land. It is expected that this paper can provide references and suggestions for future urban planning and outdoor thermal environment improvement.
