Keywords:
Traditional Chinese Dwelling, PMV, Climate Adaptation, KashgarAbstract
In recent years, the deterioration of the ecological environment has caused people to pay more and more attention to the energy consumption of buildings. However, China still retains a large number of traditional houses with high efficiency, energy saving, and ecological characteristics. The advanced experience during this period will provide the sustainable development of buildings in the future. Up the direction. This article starts with the study of the typical types of the single plan layout of traditional dwellings in Kashgar, and discusses its basic elements and evolutionary laws. Sum up 5 types of plans. The human body thermal comfort simulation analysis is performed on these five plan types, and the simulation content is the PMV simulation calculation of the main area spaces comfort---main bedroom and living room. The five typical plan types were compared horizontally, and their pros and cons were quantified. We can find that different courtyards type in Kashgar have different best orientations of the living room and bedroom which are the most comfortable for human. And comparing these five courtyard types, it can be found that the “O” Type has the best thermal comfort for the human body. The main research purpose is to take human thermal comfort as the ultimate goal, objectively evaluate the climate adaptability of residential buildings, and provide new thinking and inspiration for the sustainable development of residential buildings.
