This is a study of the methodology of the Wood Laminated Construction Method, which was developed as a self- build housing construction method that allows builders without specialized construction skills to participate in the construction process. We analyzed the time and production cost of possible robotic tasks using KUKA|prc, referring to the robotization method in related researches on this construction method, and calculated the productivity of our own index based on the results. At the same time, we examined options for improving productivity, and investigated the impact of these improvements.According to the simulation results, the introduction of multiple robots resulted in a 43% time reduction, a 15% reduction in production costs, and an 18% increase in productivity compared to the case of a single robot. A simple comparison with human wood laminated construction showed that the introduction of robots increased productivity by 69% and the introduction of multiple robots increased productivity by 100%. This suggests that the investment of equipment for automation is effective in improving productivity in the wood laminated construction method, which is a construction method based on repetitive work.
