These plots that need urban renewal especially including the abandoned railway land in Brownfield Site. How to make these lands rejuvenated and adapt to the development of cities has become an urgent problem for many cities. This paper takes High Line Park, Xiamen Railway Cultural Park, New Zealand Railway Line Tourism and Mojiko Station as examples to discuss general considerations that are needed in the reconstruction of abandoned railway areas. Through the analysis and summary of the case, the authors believe that the renewal of urban abandoned railway areas should protect it's historical authenticity. After reconstruction, it can adapt to the future development of the city and the reconstruction of those areas should be considered it's local conditions. At the same time, the reconstruction should improve the environmental quality around the railway and provide recreational places for the surrounding residents. The reconstructed site can also promote urban economic development. Finally, consideration should be given to the degree of public concern about the reconstruction of abandoned railway space.
