jailcd2020060: Research on the Planning Strategy of Green Low Carbon City under the Trend of High Urbanization

Abstract

Global warming and other environmental problems are becoming more and more serious. The continuous increase of carbon dioxide has caused a huge threat to the global ecological environment, especially under such ahigh urbanization situation. Urban planning elements, such as urban spatial structure, policy theory and human behavior, play a certain role in urban carbon emission and sustainable development. How to build a more conducive urban strategy for sustainable development needs to be put forward. Starting from the phenomenon of high carbon city, this paper points out some unsustainable problems of China's current urban development mode. This paper also considers the main contents, necessity and urgency of green city design and low-carbon city. By learning from the specific practices of the world's low-carbon cities and a series of comparative studies, it puts forward that green city is the goal and requirement in the field of urban sustainable development. it is an important way to deal with climate change, environmental risk, energy crisis and the lack of world economic growth after the financial crisis. Finally, it will come out with some suggestions for the development of green and low-carbon cities in urban design and planning.
