jailcd2020068: Discussion on the Research Status of Epoxy Concrete Material Properties

Abstract

Epoxy resin concrete is a polymer concrete with high strength, good toughness, high impact strength, and good abrasion resistance, water resistance and frost resistance. Because epoxy resin concrete is more environmentally friendly than traditional concrete in the preparation process, under the situation that the country vigorously promotes the industrialization of buildings, energy saving and environmental protection, it has broad development prospects and application space. Based on the research and development status of epoxy resin concrete at home and abroad, this paper summarizes the main development directions of epoxy resin concrete. By consulting a large number of literatures, most of the domestic and foreign researches are focused on material properties. The main research in China is the effect of different mixtures on the mechanic properties of epoxy resin concrete, such as the effect of the amount of epoxy resin on the mechanical properties of epoxy resin concrete. Foreign countries have mainly studied the factors that may affect the mechanical properties of epoxy resin concrete during the preparation process, such as the effect of curing temperature and curing agent on the mechanical properties of epoxy resin concrete. This paper summarizes the development trends of epoxy resin concrete at home and abroad, points out the advantages and disadvantages of epoxy concrete, and lays the foundation for the application and subsequent research of epoxy concrete.
