Abstract

In order to meet the needs of the operation of the heating network and the hot users during the heavy load in the cold winters in the north area, and taking into account the best economic benefits of the operation of the power plant during this period, the peaking equipment has been used for refueling. In order to make the cogeneration heating system cost-effective, the choice of peak shaving scheme is vital. The heat pump peaking unit and the boiler have become the main equipment for supplying the peak heat load in the concentrated cogeneration heating system. Under the conditions of determining the same heat load and peaking coefficient, the economic performance of heat pump peaking and boiler peaking is studied. Compare and determine the ideal peak shaving scheme. It is concluded when the heating area of the peak shaving is small, the heat pump peak shaving is more economical and environmentally friendly.
