jailcd2022006: Micro renovation mode and practice of existing housing: Survey in Guangzhou

Abstract

The quality of China's existing housing stock, mostly built in the 1980s and 1990s, is in urgent need of improvement. The renovation of the existing housing not only involves the improvement of the hardware conditions of the living environment, but also includes the inheritance of the living scene and spatial characteristics of the residential area and the overall improvement of multiple elements. On the basis of combing the evolution process of existing residential renewal and transformation, this paper summarizes seven existing residential renewal and renovation modes in China at the present stage, and takes the micro renovation mode as the research object to conduct on-site investigation and analysis on the interior of buildings, public environment, infrastructure and regional culture of five old communities in Guangzhou. After summarizing the transformation measures and residents' living experience, this paper makes a preliminary comprehensive evaluation on the micro renovation mode, which can provide ideas for future research.
