Abstract

Along with the advent of the stock era, the renovation of residential buildings built around the 1980s and 1990s has become a typical issue. Therefore, it is significant to systematically clarify the characteristics of many existing residential buildings within a wide range of areas. In order to analyze the spatial condition, such as "district - residential area - block - house/flat " in-depth, this article investigated the current living condition of the Shenzhen OCT (Overseas Chinese Town) Dongzutuan residential area. Using the principle of levels classification of Residential Open Buildings to clarify the basic situation of existing residential areas in Shenzhen OCT Dongzutuan will play an enlightening role in the subsequent related research about scheme design and exploration of spatial connection.
