Abstract

In recent years, with the rapid development of urban construction and modern technology, modern residential buildings have lost the essence of cultural and ecological concepts in traditional Chinese architecture, causing huge damage to the natural environment and people's mental health. This paper compares and analyzes the characteristics and advantages of traditional "the isomorphism between cave and building" residential buildings and the existing problems of existing urban dwellings, draws on the cultural application and construction wisdom of traditional dwellings, and discusses the traditional treatment methods that meet the needs of modern dwellings. . It is expected to propose a new Loess Plateau residential building design strategy that not only conforms to modern functions and structures, but also has traditional regional characteristics, so that modern houses can return to tradition.
