In residential research, scholars usually take the dominant factors such as residential function, form, scale and streamline layout as the research object. In daily use, domestic spaces more represent the relationship between families and between residents and visitors. These relationships are influenced by the local social culture, which remain stable to a certain extent, and change with the different background of the times. Based on the theory of space syntax, this paper quantitatively analyzes the spatial indicators of Quzhou residence in China in each time period, to explore its spatial organization logic and the relationship between people behind it, so as to enrich the current cultural interpretation of residential heritage.
