Abstract

Against the background of the limited scale of urban land, Macau's urban development has entered an era of stock development. However, with the shortage of land resources, the problem of unused land in Macau is highlighted. Also influenced by climate, topography, and urban construction, the waterlogging pain in Macau is severe during the rainy and typhoon season. Therefore, this paper attempts to rationalize unused land in the city to alleviate the urban stormwater problem. This study analyzes the spatial layout of flood risk areas and the causes and type characteristics of new ground in Macau through GIS analysis and field research. Based on this, the elements of unused land and green infrastructure system have corresponded, and the methods of green infrastructure renovation of unused land are explored. Finally, some suggestions are made for retrofitting green infrastructure based on unused land in flood-prone areas of Macau.
