Abstract

With the current global spread of the new crown epidemic and the increasing amount of time people spend in buildings, the importance of environmental health has increased. Using the Web of Science Core Collection database as a literature search engine, we analyzed foreign research literature on healthy indoor environments using the database's own analysis tools and two scientific knowledge mapping software, Citespace and VOSviewer. The results show that healthy indoor environment involves several research directions such as architecture, environmental science, psychology, and public health, and has obvious interdisciplinary characteristics. The research on healthy indoor environment has been active since 2010 and has achieved many results, but it is not perfect in terms of the interaction of multi-sensory factors, special groups of research subjects, and the pursuit of low energy consumption and high efficiency of green buildings while improving the comfort and health of the environment.
