Abstract

Falling accident is the top of the “five major injuries” in the construction industry, with susceptibility and high risk. "Fault tree-analytic hierarchy process" was proposed to make better decision-making in the fall accident for the management. Based on the fault tree analysis, the events were divided into goal layer, criterion layer and index layer in the falling hierarchy analysis model. Then, we constructed the judgment matrix and calculated the weights and consistency tests of each index. Fault tree-analytic hierarchy process was used to evaluate the accident system of falling accidents in building construction. The weights of the risk factors affecting the falling accident system were compared to determine the factors with the greatest weight, thus providing quantitative and objective basis for the safety decision-making of falling accidents in construction building.
