Abstract

Nowadays, the public buildings almost use the glass certain wall especially auto exhibition architecture in order to attract people to come into the building. And also, this kind of facade design accords with the public aesthetic. Glass curtain wall can provide a good luminous environment, but it is large in energy consumption. Façade shading can be divided into four categories: 1. horizontal shading; 2. vertical shading; 3. comprehensive shading: 4. baffle-type shading. Different shade way applies in different condition. According to the climate of the hot-summer and cold-winter zone which is hot and humid and winter is cold and damp, we can choose the most suitable type of the shading way to analysis. Depending on the research, I find that the horizontal type shading fits on the hot-summer and cold-winter zone. And research will use the Ecotect to analysis the different forms of the horizontal-type shading. According to the research, I will explore the suitable sunshade component sizes which don't influence the visual permeability. The research will study the component sizes and the space size between the components in order to find the best data. The research will according to the solar radiation to evaluate the sunshade components' sizes. This kind of research can give a reference to the façade design and reduce energy consumption.
