Abstract

Rammed earth building is a traditional building form in China, with thousands of years of construction history. Rammed earth buildings have obvious ecological advantages: materials are collected locally, there is almost no environmental pollution, and the impact on the ecological environment is small. Anji Eco-house is made of natural materials, mainly clay and bamboo. It breaks the shackles of industrialized buildings and aims to spread the ecological and natural nature of rammed earth buildings and retain local culture. This article takes Anji Eco-house as an example. Through field investigations, it understands its process characteristics and ecology, including the proportion of rammed earth and soil selection. construction process characteristics, sustainable use of materials, and so on. At the same time, the ecological house was improved from the perspective of an undergraduate architecture student, and based on this, three different types of holiday homestays were designed, including "enclosed", "row-house", and "tube house". This article aims to expand people's understanding and thinking on rammed earth buildings, and to provide reference and reference for the design and construction of rammed earth buildings.
