Abstract

This thesis studies the visual design of the green bus stations in Suzhou city of China and refers to the visual design of the green public transport in the international community. Then it analyzes and elaborates the concepts and connotations of the visual design of the green bus stations. Take the differences and commonalities of the regional city bus station design for the study. On the basis of green development and with reference to the visual design of bus stations in the international community and related literature, research isle processed in the field and in questionnaire to collect data so as to analyze the geographical characteristics. By combining the visual design of bus stations in Suzhou city with such aspects as color psychology, cognition of emotion and the overall green landscape of the city, this thesis analyzes the problems that exist in the visual design of urban bus stations under the goal of green development, then conceives planning and strategies strengthens the green design of bus stations in the cities so as to improve the image of the city and finally provides guidelines and reference to the urban green development.
