jailcd2020116: Comparative Research on Architectural Color Planning of New and Old University Campuses in Northern China---Liaoning University as an Example

Abstract

This research object is the architectural color planning of the new and old university campuses in northern China. Use theoretical literature research, field environmental behavior research and image analysis. The thesis will select the Chongshan Campus (Old Campus) and the Puhe Campus (New Campus) of Liaoning University as the research case, at the same time, collect relevant color data and image data in the field for comparison for contrasting. After compared the connection and difference between architectural color planning design of new campuses with the old campuses, the thesis will analyze the ways how color elements are combined with the historical context of colleges and universities. The final purpose is exploring the principles of university campus architecture and environmental color planning and design, including color positioning strategies.
