Abstract

With the intensification of climate change and the acceleration of urbanization, extreme weather disasters have gradually increased in most cities in China, and road flooding caused by heavy rain events has greatly affected urban transportation, urban economy, and people's lives. The proposal of the sponge city and low impact development (LID) technology concept can reconcile the contradiction between urban road water accumulation and drainage facility reconstruction design. However, due to the differences in the position. l relationship, and functions of domestic and foreign cities in the design of slow-moving systems (roads, green spaces, parks, etc.), the concept of a sponge city and LID technology cannot be fully applied to the design of domestic slow-moving systems. This study takes Qingdao as the research object, and aims at the contradiction between road water accumulation and the design of drainage facilities in Qingdao, explores the application of sponge city concept and LID technology in the design of Qingdao slow-moving system, and improves the domestic slow-moving system design, provide ideas for alleviating the problem of road water accumulation in Qingdao and even some cities in China.
