Abstract

Along with the development of settlements in the city center, the reduction in green land in each of these housing units. The desire to grow crops in housing units is increasingly lost. But now, all can be made using hydroponic techniques. The hydroponic technique is the cultivation by utilizing water without the use of soil, emphasizing the fulfillment of nutritional needs for plants. This farming technique is now widely inserted as an effort to bring green land in a settlement with small and dense land. So from that it requires a home floor design solution, which accommodates residents in the housing can grow crops with hydroponics. This hydroponics as an effort for urban farming. The research method used is an exploratory with qualitative data from survey and observation, then digitalize in software. The result is the house designs typology with hydroponic cropping patterns.
