Lightweight envelope building as a quick, easy accessibility of temporary buildings, in the reconstruction work is widely used, but has a poor performance in thermal comfort. Therefore, starting from the angle of improving thermal comfort performance, in this paper, the lightweight envelope cabinet room composited with PCM(Phase change materials) compared with no PCM in the same size, have been studied under both internal heat source and no internal heat source situation in winter, and comparative analyzed on the difference of the indoor air temperature. Then the author discussed the ability of PCM to improve lightweight envelope cabinet room’s thermal environment. The results show that the PCM materials in winter conditions without heating has a role on improving the thermal environment of the room, and under the heating condition is more obvious. In a conclusion, the use of lightweight composite phase change material to enhance the building envelope thermal comfort for the reconstruction of a temporary building has a positive meaning.
