jailcd2015018: Green University and Establishment of Energy Management System: A Comprehensive University in Dalian as an Example

Abstract

Scarcity of resources is the most concerned issue in this rapid urbanization era, and university is one of the main reasons of magnificent energy consumption. Therefore, an energy management system should be promoted, such as building green university. This paper introduces the relationship between green university and the energy management system, which also indicates the importance of energy management system for green university. Then the situation of energy consumption can be analyzed according to the university electricity consumption data of year 2013. At last, the strategies of the energy conservation were proposed according to different energy consumption problems.
