Abstract

This paper describes the background of sustainable building in Japan. It introduced the durability of sustainable building, recycling of resources and reducing energy consumption and promote the industrial development of the Japanese house by combining SI building system with the sustainable building .By the study of the development process of the Japanese housing industry and the current situation of Chinese residential development, we propose reasonable suggests to improve properties of Chinese building.
