Abstract

The huge consumption of the resources and energy of the construction results in serious environmental pollution. This paper analyzed energy consumption of timber buildings in the whole life cycle (building-materials materialized phase and building operational phase) by life cycle assessment, to determine the effects on combination of appropriate form and building materials on the environment, in order to provide some ideas for the development of the wood building structure.
