Abstract

There are multiple advantages such as unified, universal, and coordinating in social security housing based on standardization. New social security housing in the future should not only have the advantages of standardized design but also meet the needs of sustainability. Studies of plan design strategies of social security housing could help to meet the needs of diverse living patterns and long service life, to improve the living quality, and to reduce energy consumption. This article selects a housing project as the research object to explore its plan design strategies. This project could improve the diversity of residential patterns and meet the adaptive demands of full-life cycle by the combination of living building flat and the design of the residential units, so it could satisfy the requirements of sustainable architecture. Diversity and adaptability of the constitute forms of the living buildings and the combination of the interior units have been improved on the basis of standardized plan design. It could meet the requirements of both developers and users. Diversified plan design based on standardization is economical and sustainable.
