Abstract

 The pedestrian way is part of the highway that is specifically reserved for pedestrians, is located on the edge of the road and has elevations of the surface roughness of the road. However, the function of the pedestrian way moment transformed into parking cars or motorcycles and was street vendors. This led to a sense of discomfort for pedestrians. Pedestrian way wrong designation and its function will be to narrow the width of the road and eventually add to the congestion of the highway. Related research was conducted along the pedestrian way Path Z. A Pagar Alam, the city of Bandar Lampung. This is due to the research location in the pedestrian way is underutilized. Most of the people prefer to use public transport or privately than walking. In addition, government programs focus more on development and widening of the road so that urban land becomes very narrow. Therefore, it is necessary the presence of alternatives to the settlement in the form of program improvement pedestrian way with using the concept of a full pedestrian way, so as to build the image of the city.
