Abstract

With the Taiwan's economic and urban development , the high housing prices problem in recent years , has been one of the main reasons for the people in the country and the life pressure, so the social housing issues gradually be taken seriously. What is social housing? Rental housing in Europe is also called the "  Social Rented Housing " , refers to the government directly or through subsidies, with the construction of folk suitable for living standard house, only rent don't sell pattern , below-market rents or free rent to low income households or the weakness of the special object of housing. But social housing in addition to drive policy, more to provide a large number of residential demand, compressing the living space, that under such limitations , how to provide disadvantaged groups and in suitable living space, retains the good life environment? So this as research, analyse the space under the condition of different ethnic groups need to living pattern, which is formed by the taking the social housing design of Hsinchu City as an example.Hsinchu City in the process of urbanization facing functional limitation of supply and demand in the housing market , tend to face higher prices under pressure, youth people , economic and socially vulnerable families and into the rental market , a potential rental communities.Take provides in the design good and can community of environment the mutual support as the conception, establishes the cooperation the community relations, and hoped in the crowded environment, can provide the public space and the facility, comes the connection inhabitant to promote the life consciousness, and increases the exchange and opportunity of the mutual attention, by this establishment community self-service and neighborhood management.
