jailcd2015037: Comparison on Traditional Workhome between Japan and Vietnam: Case Study “House of Takazaki” of Japan and “Tube house” of Vietnam

Abstract

This study’s purpose is to compare the features of traditional workhome between two Asian countries which that have some similar points in culture and customs: Vietnam and Japan. The case study of Vietnamese traditional house is “Tanky house” and the other side is “House of Takazaki” ” in Japan. This paper focuses on the Architectural form, local human’s habitats and culture, structure and materials, heating – cooling functional efficiency. It could be basically presented the differences and commons between two architectural styles then specifies their relation as well as their application in modern life.
