In particular, this space is different from the traditional library which is closed to the reading practice, learning content, and attract children under the age of twelve to participate in the reading and related activities. The site is located in the center of Hsinchu City bonded by Wen-Hua Street and Ren-Ai Street, facing the Tung Ta Canal with an area of 1937square meter. It is located in the business district with the site coverage rate of 80% and the volume rate of 240%.The project is to design an exclusive space for children, especially for kids under the age of twelve. Within the busy city environment, the project wants to build a place where children can be happy inside. In Taiwan, the child's mood is always like the blue clean sky, most of parents are worried about their future. After class in the school, children have the enrollment classes to continue learning, ahead of time to learn the homework of a higher grade. However, the children should be happy during their childhood and remember good memories. Altocumulus is a kind of climate, when altocumulus appears in the sky, it is said that the weather will be sunny. That is a pleasant weather. Sunny weather and blue sky should most represent a children's heart, therefore altocumulus is the main design concept of the project.
