Abstract

Indonesian has many potential tour region that can be dug and developed to be tour villages. one of the potential tour region local wealth shaped traditional of architecture (vernacular architecture) Sundanese at rich west java value. Local government provinsi west java, especially Bandung Regency must can to make concept and new penetration in promotings the tour region to tourist. In reality, up to in this time local government not yet can to do it, so that tourist visit number prosentase always low. Traditional of architecture rich culture and tradition very have big opportunity to made concept and penetration, because tourist begins to leave modern tour atmosphere and leer nature tour (back to nature) rich culture with tradition (culture and tradition). This matter is along with culture ministry national strategic plan and tourism roll tour village program that begin since year 2010 to increase tourist visit number, especially foreign countries to the ground water. Greet government program, so tourism development at region of villaged proper be strategic plan priority at every local government, especially to push activity non-agricultural which is on the hope later can support economy diversification of villaged. This study is entitled "Design Model Development of Tourism Village at Bandung Regency-West Java based on Traditional Sundanese Architecture" this is supposed is bridge (liaison) between government willing with the implementation by local government. In general, this watchfulness aims to describe region tradisional architecture at upgrades Sundanese, uncover potential traditional of architecture tour, make design model and traditional of architecture tour potential development pattern, with apply it in order to tour village potential development based on Sundanese traditional of architecture at West Java. Watchfulness location that is at Bandung Regency, with the traditional of architecture unity, that is: custom village Cikondang, Mahmud, and Naga. Watchfulness method uses to approach qualitative descriptive. While to detect the tour region potential development is done to pass analysis SWOT (Strenght, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat). This watchfulness is supposed can to formulate tour region potential development strategy proposal based on strength strategy and opportunity, weakness strategy and opportunity, strength strategy and threat, with weakness strategy and threat. For the implementation, designed one region tour development design model that based to approach local architecture-traditional. On that account, this watchfulness also will produce planning design model and configuration tour village at  one from more of potential area with takes Sundanese traditional special building forms, so that in the end can increase tourist visit number to Bandung Regency (especially) and West Java (usually) in order to support visit indonesia year.
