Our planet is heating up by climate change. Vietnam is one of the most affected countries by this phenomenon. Drought is one of the consequences of climate change. Urban in dry lands are facing many challenges: rainfall decline, land salinity area increased, synonymous with shrinking agricultural land area, ecosystem change, and urban environment pollution. So finding the solution for problem is extremely important. The general design of this project focuses on the water management system flow through re-designing an urban area in dry land. Fresh water resources such as groundwater and surface water in the form of streams and lakes have strategic importance and high economic value for a country. So finding new water supplies as well as strategies for using water and recycling is extremely important. It is one of the important keys to revive and rescue the dry lands and urban in dry land. Main researching of project: the cycle of water in urban, then find solutions for water management, including finding new supplies of water-Recycling and reuse, especially water treatment solutions. This design proposes a simple urban model which solves the problems of clean water, renewable energy, ecosystems, green living space and distributed infrastructure towards sustainable development. City recovery strategy: the large urban is seen as a green tree, and each of the leaf is seen as a small urban and stormwater harvesting network is seen as the veins of a leaf. This network brings revival and vitality for urban in dry land because it is led into residential areas and wetland ecosystem is created by this stormwater harvesting network.
