Abstract

In the background of the high speed aging society, the frequently increasing solitary elderly family, build a senior residence could not only satisfy the home-living requirements of the elderly, but also push forward the developing of the elderly service, hence it has been heeded by the governments and the developers. However, till now, there has no system theory or the clear guidance to direct the planning of the senior residence. How to build a senior residence which could satisfy the requirements of the elderly is the demand of the society development and pressing question. The thesis comprehends the current situation of built senior residence according to contrast three senior residences which had been built and goes well. The main research is the location and scale planning of the senior residence on urban scale. On the base of contrast and analyze the cause of the situation of the senior residence, point out the suggestions to the senior residence planning.
