jailcd2019-100： Design of B&B in the Perspective of Regional Ecology

Abstract

In recent years, the state has strengthened the construction of new rural areas and actively promoted rural  tourism. At the sametime, the Chinese B&B(bed and breakfast) are blooming everywhere, and there are also  problems such as serious homogenization, excessive decoration, and large building energy consumption. This  article will take the design and transformation of “Jianshangliuyin” B&B in Lishui City, Zhejiang Province as  an example to explain how to inherit and apply the passive design principle that adapts to the regional climate,  and combines with modern energy-saving technology to create a green ecological B&B building suitable for  tourists. The paper investigates and analyses the ecological technology with regional characteristics. After  investigating and studying residential buildings in Lishui City, this paper summarizes the local characteristics  of earth architecture technology and regional ecological technology such as building shading and natural  ventilation with obvious regional characteristics. After understanding the ecological technology of the project  location, the  architectural  design thinking  and  creation  are  divided  into  five  aspects:  local  construction  technology improvement, passive technology strategy, regional building material application, integration of modern  architectural  technology  and  architectural  space  shape  design.  The  design  of  “Jianshangliuyin” actively inherits the green ecological technology of Lishui dwellings and creates a green and low-carbon B&B  building. I hope that I can enlighten the design of contemporary Chinese B&B. It is good for green B&B design  thinking and creation.
