Abstract

In the process of modernization, the symbolic space of the local architecture has become the nostalgic and gentle hometown of people's memory. Architects need to develop Neo-vernacular buildings to inherit their genes in a more modern and progressive way. Environmental problems are becoming more and more serious at present, low-carbon buildings are the trend of the times. Local architecture is a simple low-carbon spirit of the building. As a driving force to promote practice, low-carbon will drive the growth of new rural buildings. This paper summarizes the value and strategy of the new vernacular architecture under the guidance of low carbon through case study and practice analysis in order to setup the new grammar rules of low-carbon new country which includes abstract order and the wisdom of local experience.
