Abstract

Spatial planning of urban recreation system will affect the shaping of urban space. A vibrant city must be composed of a large number of complementary and connected nodes, each of which plays an important role in the development of urban network. Urban recreational space is not independent of other urban components. Rational spatial planning of recreational system will improve the quality of various types of urban space. Besides, the users of urban recreation system space are human, and the form of recreation space is closely related to human activities. Therefore, the planning of recreation space depends on the increasing recreation needs of citizens. Guided by the theory of spatial syntax, this paper analyses the structural characteristics of the form of recreational space in Yantai City and the intellectuality level of the overall form of urban recreational space from the perspective of spatial cognition. On this basis, it discusses the cognitive influencing factors of the form of recreational space in Yantai City, and provides theoretical and methodological reference for the study of urban recreational space in China.
