Abstract

Urban activities and development although has improved people’s lives, affected the environment and people  health,  with  the  reduction  of  natural  space,  biological  habitat  is  destroyed  and  reduced  ,   so biodiversity and migratory route has been affected. in addition, with the increase in population density, forcing the city need more facilities for people activities and urban operation, the air quality has reduced and heat island effect is getting worse, more impervious area replaced the pervious area, drainage issues are becoming more and more obvious, in other hand, because of urban form and land use planning, people far from the nature that also has subtle influence the people physical health and psychological health. This article including different points to discuss the importance Green Infrastructure(GI), as well as the advantage for the urban planning and how to solve the problems described above.
