jailcd2019-018: Research on Pavilions’ Environment Comfort of Hangzhou in Winter

Abstract

As stay points during sightseeing, pavilions have multiple functions, such as playing the roles of attractions, displaying history and culture, working as shelters for people and so on. It is of great significance to evaluate Pavilions ’ environment comfort level since the needs for outdoor activities of residents and tourists in winter. Based on the physical environment data of Helei Pavilion and Lengquan Pavilion by field measurements, a comparison study of the two pavilions in Hangzhou Lingyin Scenic Spot in winter was taken. The relationship between landscape elements and environment comfort can be explored by spatial analysis. The result reveals that Helei Pavilion is warmer and more comfortable than the Lengquan Pavilion in the winter. Contrast the comfort of the two pavilions, it is concluded that garden landscape comfort improvement measures should pay attention to the natural elements and the feelings of people.
