Abstract

This project is a high-rise building that is about back to the old time of an area and returning an identifier of the location to the future. The location is Yannawa Sub-District, Sathon District, in Bangkok, Thailand. Along time ago, this area had a lot of nature, plentifully, so bringing the nature back is meaningful. Besides, the location of the site is close to the Chao Phraya River. There was a riverside commercial, and a dealing with foreigners, indicated that the most important thing since the ancient age is communication, to make a deal with foreigner, so creating this building to be a place for people exchange something about their own identity such as languages, culture, foods, etc. is usefulness. The main concept design is adding functions with nature and transforming a mountain to be graphics and bring it to be a building form. The main program of this design project is natural-tourism and cultural exchange center, and the other program that will make this project to be quite perfect are learning space, hotel and facilities. About spaces in this project would be more than just a room, it has to be challenged for comfortable and cozy.
