Abstract

After 20 years of education expansion, China’s rapid construction of the campus has passed. During these years, how to plan the campus and transform the sustainable campus has become a hot spot. However, there is very little domestic experience in this area. In the past, the “blueprint” plan has been implemented, one step at a time. However, the form of education is becoming more and more complex, and the changes are getting faster and faster., which means the model is no longer applicable. Looking at the Western world, the United States has been planning for dynamic campuses from the 1960s to the 1970s, and the unchanging planning turned to be a dynamic planning design. It has advantages such as in architecture, transportation, landscape, public space, and so on, which reserves flexibility for the future, and changes future plans at any time based on changes. This means that both the campus planning and the strategic development of the university need to adjust the planning documents within the set time, so that the program is in the “dynamic” planning at any time. This program is worth learning, and provides suggestions for sustainable development after the outbreak of education in China.
