Abstract

Nowadays,  due to the  destruction  of ecological  environment,  many living things  are  affected by the endangered crisis, and the utilization of ecological environment has become a topic of concern to all. River is an ecologically rich area of the city, pregnant with many animals and plants, but also to the convenience of human life. With the improvement of quality of life, the transformation of waterfront space has become an important task of urban planning in advanced countries, and in Taiwan, more recreational facilities such as hydrophilic parks have been set up around riverbanks. The existing literature aims at the coastal peripheral utilization and landscape regulation as the research goal, but neglects the importance of the ecological planning around the river in the city. Located in the north of Hsinchu and the middle of Hsinchu County, Touqian River is the main river in the Hsinchu region. There are many recreational facilities around its riverbank. In order to maintain the ecological environment and the safety of users, this study uses the literature analysis method to sort out the evaluation factors of the establishment of recreational facilities around the riverbank, based on the suitability analysis and discussion of GIS geographic Information system, this paper analyzes whether the recreation facilities around the river bank are in line with the use, in order to provide a set of evaluation mechanism for future regulators, to assess whether the urban riparian space regulation has achieved results and meet the needs of users at the sametime, so that the use of riverbanks is more in line
