As one of the public spaces reflecting the vitality of the city, mobile vendors, as the most "a pyrotechnic exuberant" form of business in the streets, bring convenience to the citizens while also bring certain social problems to the urban public space. This paper takes Caita Street, a neighborhood around art colleges in Shenyang, as an example, and uses Baidu heat map analysis, field research and citizen interviews to explore the spatial optimization landscape design strategies for vendors in Caita Street from the perspective of art design and from three perspectives: reconstruction of public space, beautification of visual and tactile effects, and promotion of public participation in governance, in order to alleviate the negative impact of vendors on the urban environment. In this way, we can alleviate the negative impact of the street vendors on the urban environment and help them integrate into the urban public space, forming a street space with artistic characteristics, suitable for walking and vitality.Downloads
