Abstract

From an extensive range of technologies applicable to the status quo modern green building to sustainable urban development, green building creation should not simply become a pile of proactive technologies and resource and energy acquisition methods, but architects shoulder passive design strategies in their creation. The passive design strategy is usually employed to solve the problems of sustainable ventilation, Natural lighting, heat insulation in summer and heat preservation in winter, which can embody the localized green building design ideas easily. Due to the differences in climate and geographic environment, the energy-saving optimization strategies and measures derived from the research in different sub-regions are quite different. Based on the climate characteristics of hot summer and cold winter regions, this paper analyzes the passive design strategies in Chengdu.
