Abstract

Taking Nianzi Town in Hanzhong in southern Shaanxi as the scope of investigation, it includes objective investigations on the architectural forms and spatial characteristics of residential buildings, and subjective investigations on the feeling of indoor thermal comfort. The typical dwellings in Nianzi Town, Hanzhong were selected for physical environment test. Through the actual test results, it is found that the maximum indoor temperature of residential buildings does not exceed 30°C in summer, which can basically meet the standard limit, but the average indoor temperature of traditional residential houses in winter is between 1.2°C and 6.3°C, which is lower than the standard limit of 8℃. The minimum standard cannot be met, and the indoor humidity is relatively high in winter, which affects the indoor thermal comfort. Through the investigation of indoor thermal environment, it is found that there are problems in the indoor thermal comfort of residential buildings, and it provides some theoretical reference and practical guidance for the design standards of indoor thermal environment improvement and the influencing factors of indoor thermal environment that traditional residential buildings in this area should adopt.
